Day 1: Rescue Risk Fundamentals & Equipment Handling

Module 1: Working at Height Hazards and Standards (07:30 – 09:30)

  • OSHA, ISO, and EN standards overview
  • Legal obligations for employers and workers

Module 2: Fall Protection Systems Overview (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Harness types, anchor points, lanyards, and lifelines
  • Equipment compatibility and inspection routines
  • Common failure points and misuse

Module 3: Rescue Readiness and Team Roles (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Pre-rescue planning and team structure
  • Communication and command protocols
  • Access route mapping and scene stabilization

Module 4: Equipment Practice and Vertical Descent (02:00 – 03:30)

  • Using descent devices and backup systems
  • Live demo of descent with casualty dummy
  • Rope management and mid-air stabilization

Day 2: Rescue Techniques, Simulation & Certification

Module 5: Assisted and Suspended Worker Rescue (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Victim retrieval methods: haul systems, pick-offs, cutaways
  • Rescue sling and tripod usage
  • Trauma risk from harness suspension

Module 6: Emergency Rescue Scenarios (09:45 – 11:15)
