  • Legal duties and consequences of non-compliance
  • Module 3: Identifying Hazards in the Workplace (11:30 – 01:00)
  • Physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic hazards
  • Module 4: Group Activity – Spot the Hazard Exercise (02:00 – 03:30)

Day 2: Risk Management & Incident Reporting

  • Module 1: Introduction to Risk Assessment (07:30 – 09:30)
  • Likelihood vs. consequence, risk matrix basics
  • Module 2: Applying the Hierarchy of Controls (09:45 – 11:15)
  • Elimination to PPE: practical examples
  • Module 3: Near-Miss & Incident Reporting Protocols (11:30 – 01:00)
  • Module 4: Workshop – Writing a Hazard Report (02:00 – 03:30)

Day 3: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Module 1: Types of PPE and Their Functions (07:30 – 09:30)
  • Eye, hand, head, foot, respiratory, hearing
  • Module 2: PPE Fit, Use, and Maintenance (09:45 – 11:15)
  • Module 3: Safety Signage & Color Coding Systems (11:30 – 01:00)
  • Module 4: Practical Demo – PPE Selection & Inspection (02:00 – 03:30)

Day 4: Safe Work Practices

  • Module 1: Housekeeping and Manual Handling (07:30 – 09:30)
  • Slips, trips, lifting techniques
  • Module 2: Working at Heights, Confined Spaces – Overview (09:45 – 11:15)
  • Module 3: Equipment and Electrical Safety Basics (11:30 – 01:00)
  • Module 4: Toolbox Talk & Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Roleplay (02:00 – 03:30)

Day 5: Emergency Procedures & Final Review

  • Module 1: Fire Safety and Evacuation Plans (07:30 – 09:30)
  • Module 2: Emergency Communication and Alarms (09:45 – 11:15)
  • Module 3: First Aid Awareness & Safety Culture (11:30 – 01:00)
  • Module 4: Final Assessment & Certificate Distribution (02:00 – 03:30)
