From aircraft crash response to passenger evacuation and aviation-specific hazards, the course prepares participants to handle both minor and major aviation emergencies in line with ICAO and IATA response frameworks.

  • Module 3: Regulatory Standards – ICAO, IATA, and Local Protocols (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Crash Site Characteristics and Scene Safety (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 2: Airside Operations and Initial Response

  • Module 1: Aircraft Firefighting – Fuel Types, Fire Behavior, and Suppression Tactics (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Accessing and Securing the Aircraft (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Emergency Aircraft Systems – Doors, Egress, and Rescue Hazards (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Drill – Response to Light Aircraft Crash (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 3: Rescue and Medical Support at Crash Sites

  • Module 1: Triage and Casualty Management in Aviation Settings (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Evacuation and Victim Extraction Techniques (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Coordination with Paramedics and Emergency Medical Services (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Simulation – Aircraft Passenger Rescue Exercise (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 4: Scene Management and Multi-Agency Response

  • Module 1: Incident Command System (ICS) for Aviation Emergencies (07:30 – 09:30)

Day 5: Final Evaluation & Live Simulation

  • Module 3: Final Written Assessment (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Certification Ceremony and Wrap-Up (02:00 – 03:30)

Certification

Successful participants will be awarded the Certificate of Competence in Aviation Incident Response – General, endorsed by international aviation safety and emergency standards (ICAO, IATA, NFPA 402).
