Day 2: Site Operations and PPE

  • Module 1: PPE Levels A–D: Selection and Use (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Donning, Doffing, and PPE Limitations (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Site Control: Isolation Zones, Decon Corridors & Entry Points (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Workshop: Full PPE Field Drill (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 3: Containment and Control Techniques

  • Module 1: Spill Control & Leak Sealing Methods (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Overpacking, Plugging & Patching Containers (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Vapour Suppression and Product Recovery (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Hands-On Exercise – Controlled Hazard Scenario (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 4: Decontamination and Recovery Operations

  • Module 1: Emergency and Technical Decontamination Procedures (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Monitoring Equipment: PID, FID, and Radiation Meters (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Environmental Protection & Waste Disposal Protocols (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Simulation – Decon Line Setup and Casualty Processing (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 5: Coordination, Assessment & Certification

  • Module 1: ICS Roles, Communication, and Liaison with Agencies (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Final HAZMAT Field Scenario – Team Response (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Knowledge Test and Practical Skills Assessment (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Certification Ceremony and Wrap-Up (02:00 – 03:30)

Certification

Participants will receive a Certificate of Competency in Hazardous Materials Incident Response, valid for 3 years and aligned with NFPA 472/1072 and international emergency response standards.
