Course Introduction

Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) analysis is a critical technique for identifying potential hazards, operational issues, and safety risks in industrial processes. This 2-day online course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of HAZOP methodology, enabling them to systematically analyze processes, identify deviations, and implement corrective measures.

Through interactive workshops, case studies, and practical exercises, participants will develop the skills required to conduct HAZOP studies effectively. By the end of the program, attendees will be equipped to enhance process safety, mitigate risks, and support compliance with industry safety standards.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the principles and methodology of HAZOP analysis.
  • Identify potential hazards and operational deviations in processes.
  • Conduct structured HAZOP studies using standard guidelines.
  • Recommend corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture within industrial operations.

Key Benefits of Attending

  • Gain practical skills in HAZOP analysis and hazard identification.
  • Learn to systematically detect operational risks and deviations.
  • Enhance process safety and compliance with industry standards.
  • Improve decision-making and preventive safety measures.
  • Network with peers and share insights on HAZOP implementation.

Intended Audience

This program is designed for:

  • Process engineers and safety officers
  • HSE professionals and risk managers
  • Operations and maintenance personnel in industrial plants
  • Project engineers and quality assurance professionals
