Day 2: Equipment Identification & Function

Module 1: Types of First Attack Firefighting Equipment (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Fire extinguishers, hose reels, blankets

Module 2: Understanding Fire Extinguisher Classes (09:45 – 11:15)

  • A, B, C, D, K classes and appropriate use

Module 3: Components & Functionality (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Nozzles, gauges, hoses, propellants

Module 4: Practical – Equipment Inspection & Readiness Check (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 3: Safe Handling & Operation

Module 1: Fire Extinguisher Handling – PASS Technique (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep method

Module 2: Using Fire Hose Reels – Setup and Operation (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Advancing hose, controlling pressure

Module 3: Using Fire Blankets & Emergency Procedures (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Smothering techniques, safety distance

Module 4: Live Demo – Practice with Water & CO2 Extinguishers (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 4: Response Scenarios & Hazards

Module 1: Fire Attack Planning – Decision Making Under Pressure (07:30 – 09:30)

  • When to attack vs. when to evacuate

Module 2: Firefighting Hazards & Personal Safety (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Toxic smoke, electrical shock, explosion risks

Module 3: Emergency Communication & Reporting (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Alarms, calling for help, chain of command

Module 4: Fire Drill – Simulated Incident with Live Response (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 5: Evaluation, Assessment & Certification

Module 2: Written Quiz & Knowledge Check (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Covering fire behavior, equipment use, safety rules
