It includes hands-on experience with real or simulated fire extinguishers under expert supervision.

  • Identify types of fires and suitable extinguishers (Class A, B, C, D, E, F)

  • Use the PASS technique (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) confidently

  • Follow WHS fire emergency procedures and reporting protocols

Certification

Participants will receive a Certificate of Competency in WHS Basic Fire Extinguisher Awareness, confirming their understanding and ability to use workplace extinguishers under supervision and as part of an initial response.
