  • Module 3: Personal Safety & PPE in Wildland Fires (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Drill: Safety Zones, Lookouts, and Fire Shelters (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 2: Suppression Tools and Techniques

  • Module 1: Direct vs. Indirect Attack Strategies (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Firelines, Backburns, and Control Lines (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Ground Equipment: Tools, Hoses, and Pumps (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Field Drill: Building and Holding a Fireline (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 3: Air-Ground Coordination in Wildfire Suppression

  • Module 1: Role of Aerial Support: Water Bombers & Helicopters (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Air-Ground Communication Protocols (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Coordination with Forestry and Incident Command (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Simulation: Multi-Agency Wildfire Response (02:00 – 03:30)


Day 4: Wildfire Scenario Management

  • Module 1: Mapping and Monitoring Fire Spread (07:30 – 09:30)

  • Module 2: Managing Spot Fires and Re-Ignition Risks (09:45 – 11:15)

  • Module 3: Evacuation, Perimeter Defense, and Public Safety (11:30 – 01:00)

Day 5: Strategy, Leadership & Recovery

  • Module 3: Final Simulation – Full-Scale Wildfire Incident (11:30 – 01:00)

  • Module 4: Debrief, Evaluation, and Certification Ceremony (02:00 – 03:30)

Certification

Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Competence in Wildfire Suppression, verifying their skills in mitigating wildfire threats and contributing to local and national emergency response frameworks.
