  • Module 2: Hazard Classification and Identification (09:45 – 11:15)
    • UN numbers, class divisions, and packaging groups
  • Module 3: Workshop – Interpreting the Dangerous Goods List (11:30 – 01:00)
    • Identify applicable rules for sample shipments
  • Module 4: Labeling, Marking, and Documentation (02:00 – 03:30)
    • Placards, transport documents, and data accuracy

Day 2: Safe Storage, Segregation & Emergency Procedures

  • Module 1: Segregation Principles and Container Placement (07:30 – 09:30)
    • Incompatible goods, stowage codes, and container stacking
  • Module 2: Safe Storage in Warehouses and Yards (09:45 – 11:15)
    • Ventilation, temperature, security, and site layout
  • Module 3: Workshop – Segregation Table Application (11:30 – 01:00)
    • Plan container yard layout based on cargo compatibility
  • Module 4: Emergency Preparedness and Spill Response (02:00 – 03:30)
    • Incident response, reporting, and PPE usage

Certification

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Handling and Storage of Dangerous Goods According to the IMDG Code, validating their competency in the safe storage, segregation, and documentation of hazardous cargo in compliance with international maritime standards.
