21 – 23 Apr 2026 Dubai, UAE USD 2495 per delegate

Course Introduction

The safe handling, labeling, and use of chemicals depend on correct hazard classification. Misclassification can result in regulatory penalties, worker exposure, environmental harm, and accidents. This course is designed to help professionals identify, classify, and communicate chemical hazards in accordance with globally harmonized systems (GHS), OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.

Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of chemical hazard types, classification criteria, safety data sheets (SDS), and labeling requirements, as well as how to assess risks and take protective measures within industrial and laboratory environments.

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Understand the fundamentals of chemical hazard classification under GHS
• Identify physical, health, and environmental hazards of substances and mixtures
• Interpret and apply classification criteria using SDS and chemical data
• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation for safe use and compliance
• Apply risk assessment strategies and exposure controls in the workplace

Key Benefits of Attending

• Build compliance with international chemical safety standards
• Minimize health, safety, and environmental risks in your facility
• Gain practical tools for classifying and labeling substances and mixtures
• Improve hazard communication systems across operations
• Strengthen your ability to prepare and evaluate safety documentation
