Course Introduction
Inventory represents a significant portion of working capital, yet it is often the most misunderstood and mismanaged asset in the supply chain. Organizations struggle with overstocking, stockouts, inaccurate records, and inefficient processes that impact service levels and profitability.
This 2-day course provides practical, end-to-end approaches for optimizing inventory processes—from demand planning and stock classification to replenishment and warehouse alignment. Participants will explore how integrated inventory strategies improve visibility, reduce costs, and align inventory performance with business objectives.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Understand the full lifecycle of inventory from planning to replenishment
• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in current inventory processes
• Apply segmentation, forecasting, and optimization techniques
• Align inventory policies with service levels and working capital goals
• Design KPIs and reporting dashboards to monitor inventory performance
