• Elimination, substitution, engineering, administrative, PPE
• Permit-to-work systems - Module 4: Workshop – Perform a Workplace Risk Assessment (02:00 – 03:30)
• Apply practical hazard identification and scoring
Day 2: Safety Behavior, Compliance, and Incident Management
- Module 5: Promoting Safety Culture and Worker Engagement (07:30 – 09:30)
• Leadership, communication, and motivation techniques
• Behavior-based safety (BBS) programs - Module 6: Inspections, Audits, and Monitoring (09:45 – 11:15)
• Planning and conducting HSE inspections

• Investigation process, documentation, and causation models
• Using the “5 Whys” and Fishbone Diagrams - Module 8: Workshop – Simulate an Incident Investigation (02:00 – 03:30)

Day 3: Environmental Management and HSE Integration

• Pollution control, waste handling, and resource conservation
• ISO 14001 elements and environmental audits - Module 10: Emergency Preparedness and Response Planning (09:45 – 11:15)
• Fire, chemical, and natural hazard response
• Evacuation drills and communication plans - Module 11: HSE Continuous Improvement Tools (11:30 – 01:00)
• Safety committees, KPIs, and lagging/leading indicators
• Corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) - Module 12: Final Exercise – Develop an HSE Action Plan (02:00 – 03:30)
• Create a plan to improve safety and environmental performance
Certification
Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Workshop, validating their ability to assess risks, lead HSE programs, and support workplace safety and environmental stewardship in line with global best practices.
