Day 1: Lean Leadership Fundamentals and Organizational Transformation

  • Module 1: Introduction to Lean Leadership (07:30 – 09:30)
    • Key principles of Lean leadership
    • The role of leaders in driving Lean transformations
    • Aligning Lean principles with organizational goals
  • Module 2: Leading Change with Lean Principles (09:45 – 11:15)
    • Leading organizational change using Lean principles
    • Overcoming resistance to change in Lean transformations
    • Building a culture of continuous improvement
  • Module 3: Workshop – Developing a Lean Leadership Mindset (11:30 – 01:00)
    • Participants will engage in activities to develop their Lean leadership mindset

Day 2: Advanced Lean Tools and Value Stream Mapping

  • Module 4: Value Stream Mapping for Process Optimization (07:30 – 09:30)
    • Introduction to Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and its role in Lean transformations
    • Analyzing current state maps and identifying value-added vs. non-value-added activities
    • Creating future state maps and optimizing processes
  • Module 5: Advanced Kaizen and Continuous Improvement (09:45 – 11:15)
    • Kaizen principles for continuous improvement
    • Engaging teams in problem-solving and process improvement
    • Leading Kaizen events for organizational change
  • Module 6: Workshop – Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Implementation (11:30 – 01:00)
    • Participants will develop a Value Stream Map and conduct a Kaizen event for a process in their organization

Day 3: Problem Solving with A3 and Lean Methodologies

  • Module 7: A3 Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis (07:30 – 09:30)
    • Introduction to the A3 problem-solving process
    • Using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify underlying issues
    • Developing and implementing corrective actions through A3 methodology
  • Module 8: Lean Problem Solving Tools (09:45 – 11:15)
    • Advanced problem-solving tools: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA)
    • Engaging teams in Lean problem-solving techniques
    • Prioritizing issues and selecting the right solutions
  • Module 9: Workshop – A3 Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis (11:30 – 01:00)
    • Participants will work in groups to apply A3 problem-solving and RCA to a case study

Day 4: Lean Leadership for Teams and Organizational Culture

  • Module 10: Leading High-Performance Teams in Lean (07:30 – 09:30)
